In the fall of 1983, Paul + Donna Formica drove past a tiny one-bedroom home on Chesterfield Road in Flanders, Connecticut + thought,

"that could be a fish market.” 

And so it became.

Now, nearly 40 years later, Flanders Fish Market is Connecticut’s largest full-service fresh fish market, restaurant, bar + catering operation proudly named to the CT Restaurant Association Hospitality Hall of Fame. While Donna passed away in 2009, her family - including two daughters on the leadership team - continue to carry on her legacy of loving, warm service...and great freaking food.

Voted “Best Seafood” in CT Magazine, "Best Lobster Roll" in Southeastern Connecticut + Southern Rhode Island by The Day's readers, featured on the Food Network, in Coastal Living Magazine + Rachael Ray Magazine among others, FFM is now in the second generation of family leadership - and we can’t wait to see where the next 40 years takes us. With the best team in the game, led by Director of Operations, Ali Formica Coleman, General Manager, Jennaya Morey, Executive Chef Olivia Formica + Chef de Cuisine Pat Sullivan, our values of FAMILY, COMMUNITY, QUALITY + SERVICE continue to be paramount.
